Hailey's Halloween Costume

I know it's been so long since I've last posted, but there are a bunch of things that I'll be posting within the next week or so (including Emily's finished quilt!). In the meantime, here's some pictures of the adorable Ms. Hailey in her Halloween costume that I made for her. She is a just-hatched baby chick, complete with an eggshell on her head. I basically covered a fleece one-zy (with the legs cut off) with marabou boas. I dyed the base and also her stockings before everything. The feet and beak are painted felt, the eyes are painted ping-pong balls, and the egg shell is a half-round plastic ball from Canal Plastics cut to look like a broken eggshell. Now on to the cuteness :)...
