Bridal Flower Headpiece

Last summer, I had the privilege of working at Carine's Bridal Atelier, a couture bridal boutique in Georgetown, as a seamstress. I also created multiple custom veils and headpieces for clients as well as being in charge of all bridesmaid alterations.

Here's a hair flower I did for a bride for her reception, as she didn't want to wear a veil, but still wanted something in her hair. It's made from silk, organza, and beads left over from alterations of the dress (which was Monique Lhuillier). I think around $400 was charged for this piece. :)


Blurry, but you can see the fluffyness of the organza. I kind of winged that part (well really the whole thing), but I'm incredibly happy with the final piece.
